Ross is is a personal trainer and boxing coach who specialises in weight loss, muscular development and sports specific training. After qualifying as a personal trainer with NASM he worked with one of the largest corporate health and fitness centres in the UK.
After graduating from university I decided to pursue a career in sales. I quickly worked up to manager level running a small team, the career prospects were good, the only drawback, I I had no passion for what I was doing, in fact, I hated it. I loved playing sport, was very into my weight training and running, so I decided to join my brother in the fitness industry and in 2008 I qualified as a personal trainer, and I have never looked back.
To me personal training is about progression and having fun. I like to keep things simple. Together we will look at where you are now, why you are there, and most importantly where you want to be. Then we will work out how you are going to get there. We will devise a progressive plan, based on exciting yet realistic goals, and with some hard work and hopefully some fun along the way, we will start our journey towards a fitter healthier and stronger you.
I believe in variety, if you spoke to one of my clients they would tell you that no two sessions are ever the same. I also believe in balance, keeping fit and healthy whilst living your life. I don’t promote crash diets or the latest fitness fad, I use proven tried and tested methods, and If you are willing to make some changes you will get amazing results. I help educate my clients and encourage them to educate themselves to make better choices, enjoy life, have a little of the things that they enjoy and get fitter and healthier along the way.
If I am not at the studio working, or at the gym training, I am spending time with my fiancée Danielle and our 5 year old daughter Ruby. Which still seems to involve as much running around as being in the gym! I love socialising with family and friends, eating out, and drinking the occasion beer!
